Masonry repair, done for the long haul
Moncton Masonry is a masonry service for homes and small commercial buildings in Greater Moncton. Most of our work is repair: brick, mortar, chimneys, stone and foundations that have taken too many winters. We also build new stone and brick work, steps, walls and patios.

We look for the cause
Masonry damage almost always has a water source behind it: a gutter, a missing crown, failed flashing, poor grading or the wrong mortar from an earlier repair. Fixing the bricks without fixing that just means paying for the same repair again.
We repair before we replace
If a wall can be saved with repointing and a few replacement bricks, that’s what we’ll recommend. Rebuilding is for when repair genuinely won’t last.
We match the materials
Older brick and stone get softer, lime-rich mortars. Modern veneer gets the mortar it was designed for. Colour and joint profile are matched so repairs blend in.
You get it in writing
Every job gets a written quote with the scope, materials and price. If we uncover hidden damage, we stop and show you before doing more.
We work with the weather
New mortar has to be kept from freezing while it gains strength, and it shouldn’t dry out too fast in sun or wind. Once air temperatures drop below about 4 °C, masonry needs cold-weather protection. We book exterior work for suitable conditions instead of rushing it into a cold snap.
We leave the site clean
Masonry is dusty work. We protect windows, plants and walkways, and clean up before we leave.
